The Sydney Roosters will be pulling on the socks of the Mullumbimby Giants this week as a show of support for the region, with the Club and Easts Group pledging $50,000 to assist with disaster relief following the recent floods.
With the Mullumbimby community and Upper Wilsons Creek Region one of many areas affected across New South Wales and Queensland, the Roosters will be supporting the local communities and the Mullumbimby Giants Rugby League Club, both of whom have hosted the Club’s NRL pre-season camps over the last two years.
The Mullumbimby Giants have generously given use of training fields and facilities throughout the pre-season camps, which has seen the NRL playing squad spend valuable time in the region, and now the Roosters are looking to give back to the local community.
The Sydney Roosters and Easts Group donation will go to not-for-profit organisation Good360, who will provide essential goods to the Mullumbimby community and Upper Wilsons Creek region, with a portion to also be donated to the Mullumbimby Giants.
Since launching in 2015, Good360 has received over $190 million (RRP) of donated goods, which have been delivered to charities of every size and cause area nationwide with a network of 3,000 vetted charities and schools nationally.
