Joseph talks us through his journey to the Roosters, how he handled the spotlight at such a young age and what influenced his decision when joining our club.
We chat about his hobbies away from the game, our big win against the Gold Coast Titans and how we can back up that performance this week in a huge Magic Round clash against the Parramatta Eels.
Suaalii talked about the side's groundbreaking win over the Titans in Mackay, and how a senior player galvanized teammates to see them break a two-game losing streak.
“After the two losses you had to kind of look internally, but there is always a belief that we could do that as a team,” he explained.
“If you look at us individually, at the players we have, (Luke) Keary put us aside and said ‘this is the week’, and we kind of just turned on the screws.
Those two losses, we didn’t see them as losses, we saw them as lessons.”
