Your 2022 Game Plan | NRL Round 23 & NRLW Round 1

The Sydney Roosters will be looking to farewell the SCG in style when the Tricolours host Wests Tigers in our final NRL home game before moving to the new Allianz Stadium.

Coming into this week’s match on a five-game winning streak after defeating the Cowboys in Members Round, the Roosters will look to claim another win and raise vital funds for Children’s Charities in Steggles Charity Nest Round.

The Club will also begin its pursuit of back-to-back NRLW Premierships, when the Roosters travel to Parramatta on Saturday to take on the Eels at CommBank Stadium. The NRLW squad will be on the road for the opening two rounds, before having an historic home game at the new Allianz Stadium on September 2.

Whether you are cheering on the Roosters at the SCG or CommBank Stadium, or watching the NRL and NRLW games at Easts or home, here is this week’s game plan to make the most of your game day experience:

STEGGLES CHARITY NEST ROUND

This weekend marks Steggles Charity Nest Round, celebrating the magnificent partnership of Steggles and the Sydney Roosters, particularly the Steggles Roosters Charity Nest.

Since the beginning of Steggles’ Major Sponsorship of the Roosters in 2010, both Steggles and the Roosters have been committed to raising vital funds to support Children’s Charities, including Lifestart, Children’s Cancer Institute and Children’s Hospital Foundation, Brisbane.

Each year, for every margin point the Roosters win by, Steggles donates $1000 to the Steggles Roosters Charity Nest and the Roosters donate $250. At the end of each season, the funds are tallied and distributed evenly to support the Children’s Charities.

Over the course of the partnership, more than $4.8 million has been donated to Children’s Charities in what is an amazing effort from both Steggles and the Sydney Roosters!
